MLB Division Races
There's only 10-12 games to go in the MLB season, and a majority of the divisions are really close.
Of course we all know, by now, about the new AL East rivalry with Tampa Bay, and the Red Sox (who are now tied for the division lead). But what about the AL Central (Sox leading Twins by 1.5 games), NL East (Philly down by .5 game to the Mets), and even the NL West, which is separated by 4.5 games?
[edit] My predictions:
AL East
Boston- Sorry Manny, but the Sawx are on a streak, and Tampa has lost 7 of their last 10 games.
AL Central
Chicago- Both the 'Sox, and Twins are on cold streaks, but the advantage goes to Chicago since they currently have the 1.5 game lead.
AL West
Los Angeles- Well, obviously the Angels. They do sort, kinda already have the division crown in their hands.
AL Wild Card
Tampa Bay- They have a talented team, and will easily beat out Minnesota for the fourth, and final spot.
NL East
New York- No way the Mets will blow this one two years straight. That just won't happen.
NL Central
Chicago- The Cubbies have the 8 game lead over the Ned Yost...Wait, hold on, the Brewers third base coach is the leader now. Well that settles it, Chicago easily cruises to Division crown.
NL West
Los Angeles- Yes, I know, this means there is two cities with two teams in the playoffs this year. The good news? They Yankees won't be playing in October!!
NL Wild Card
Philadelphia- Well this one's obvious. Of course the Wild Card team will come from the East...Don't they all!
Who you got in the playoffs?
