Liveblog - Ronnie O'Sullivan v Mark Selby - Final Frame Decider!
The Final of the Welsh Open has been going on for much of today.
This afternoon, Selby won the first two frames to lead 2-0. O'Sullivan was slow to settle, but won the next two frames to level at 2-2. After the mid-session interval the game became scrappy. But all four frames ended up being shared, and it was 4-4 after the afternoon session.
Into the evening, O'Sullivan won the opening two frames to lead 6-4. Selby then won the next frame, but O'Sullivan was in great form to lead 7-5 at the mid-session interval. After the interval, Ronnie took an 8-5 lead. Selby looked down and out, but he managed to win the next three frames to level the match at 8-8. At 8-7, Ronnie had the balls there to win the title, but he lost position on the brink of victory. Selby came back to win the frame, with the help of an excellent brown under pressure.
Here is the first ever AGM Snooker Liveblog, the Final of the Welsh Open, between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Mark Selby. Whoever wins this frame wins the match. I'm watching this with a 20 second time delay over the BBC website, but it's UK only viewing, I think. I predicted 9-8 to O'Sullivan earlier, so let's see what happens!
