Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, scheduled to make several local TV and radio appearances yesterday, was apparently turned away at two different entrances to TD Banknorth Garden yesterday because he didn’t have the appropriate credentials.
As if they didn’t recognize him.
Kareem, conditioned by a career filled with uncomfortable moments in Boston, was naturally suspicious. “I was looking around for Red,” he said, after showing up 20 minutes late for a WEEI interview."
