Mark Reynolds (Arizona Diamondbacks) still leads all Major League players in "Home Runs Hit" (5). Chris B. Young (Arizona Diamondbacks), Torii Hunter (Los Angeles Angels), Mike Jacobs (Florida Marlins), Bill Hall (Milwaukee Brewers), and Corey Patterson are all tied for second place with 4 homers. 15 players have 3 homers (9 from the NL and 6 from the AL).
- I made a mistake last time I posted this saying that Young and Hunter were the only players besides Reynolds to hit 4 home runs. MY BAD!
Bronson Arroyo still leads all Major League players in "Home Runs Surrendered" (5). Daniel Cabrera (Baltimore Orioles), Jason Jennings (Texas Rangers), and Roy Halladay (Toronto Blue Jays) are still the only pitchers, besides Arroyo, to have surrendered 4 homers in the 2008 season. 17 pitchers are stuck with 3 right now (9 from the AL and 8 from the NL).
- It's official, guys. I'm keeping track of the "Home Run of the Day" now. I'm not creating a new page like SSR did with the "Caption of the Day". Instead, I want you guys to vote for the home run of the day right here in this lockerroom topic/article (whatever it may be). I'll be keeping track of the votes and posting the winners in the proceeding lockerroom topic/article. (I'm also thinking of the Home Run of the Week and the Home Run of the Month) ;)
- For the first time in a while, it's tough to decide, since there aren't any walk-offs or homers that signified a win or loss. However, I'm still going to ask you guys, what was the "Home Run of the Day"? I'm not going to suggest anything this time. You guys make the decision of what it was. You can discuss it amongst yourselves if you need to. That's why it's called a lockerroom topic: to DISCUSS.
- Yes, you guys can change your mind about the vote. Just message me (privately) and I'll gladly change your vote without anyone knowing.
