Here we go again.
First off I want to say I have missed the Chair greatly this past week. I was recently on Spring Break, so I was home all week and our monitor blew up (stil lwaiting for new one to come in mail). So now that I'm back inschool I will have computer access, very limited, but it's still access. Just letting everyone know I haven't left or anyhting like that and I when my monitor is back I have some posts that I think you will all enjoy.
Now onto business. After watching the 5-0 Giants loss at the hands of the Dodgers one thought kept running through my head, "Am I missing something? Is there some hidden reason we are paying Barry Zito $10 mill this year? Does he have the ability to make the othe rpitchers better by sucking so bad? What is it?"
Barry Zito pitched an amazing 5 innings giving up only 4 runs. He is making Brian Sabean look like a genius for letting Schmidt walk and signing Zito. Is paying a player $10 mill a year really worth a 2007 ERA of 4.53 and a current ERA of 7.20? No! One good thing came out of yesterday though, Aaron Rowand went 2-3 and looked very good at the plate. I love his tenacity and agressiveness in the outfield. One play that if you didn't watch the game, you most likey didn't see it in the highlights, really impressed me. Rowand had agressively ran in for a ball knowing Penny was the base runner on first and he recieved a bad bounce, but still knocked the ball down with his arm. Just small things like that impress the baseball eyes of mine.

What!?!? I meant that
