Hawaii or Kansas - Who's number 1

Another number one has bitten the dust faster than Popeye opening another can of spinach. Here's the question. Assuming that Kansas comes back to beat Missouri, win the Big XII championship game next week and Hawaii beats Washington in Honolulu next Saturday night, should these two teams play each other in a BCS game?

As much as I root for Hawaii, I don't think they should play for the BCS even if they win next weekend. I'm just looking for them to get to #10 and get some recognition.

I think we all might be reading that last sentence wrong. In just a BCS game, that would be great to see 2 undefeateds play. But that won't happen now, since Kansas Lost to Missouri.

Mizzou should play for the national title if they beat Oklahoma in the Big XII title game. They may be the best team in the nation right now.

If MIzzou get by OU, I have no problem with a WVA/MIZZOU match up, assuming they both win out.

no one really deserves to play in the bcs title game. any real SEC team would kill missouori. they beat ole miss who has 3 wins. the 3 top teams in each division in the sec would beat missouri. they would have at least 4 losses in the sec.

The SEC is clearly the best conference in the country, still. They will prove it in the bowl games. Smitty makes a good point. Mizzou would be no match for the SEC's physical play and speed.
