Pean Congratulations. It was a great effort and great heart by the Giants. If you win three games on the road like that, you deserve to be in the Super Bowl. I take back any negative things I said about the Giants.

Congrats to all Giants Fans, who I'm sure, didn't see this day coming with Eli Manning so soon. Also memo to Giants Front Office: CUT LAWRENCE TYNES

How many times do you get a 2nd shot to go to the Super Bowl SSR? Tynes is incredibly lucky to get the extra shot, and convert it.

The man kicked that first ball so poorly that it looked like a High Schoolers first go and slapping the pigskin.

Adam Viniteri wouldn't of missed that first kick to win it.

Whatever SSR, I'm at times convinced that you know just enough about a sport to actually know nothing at all. To imply that Tynes doesn't need to be cut after the ball he kicked at the end of regulation is absurd. You can't make contact with a ball like that and be a professional kicker. No excuse... ...Oh and in case you and Jim Kelly forgot, AV4 doesn't miss when the big one is on the line, unlike Tynes and Scott Norwood.

Come on, he won the game, he redeemed himself. Should the Giants sign another kicker and start him? Yes. I never said anything about Tynes starting again did I?:)

Cute, but what's the point of paying Tynes if someone else will do his job better? And damn it, your suppose to take my half ass attempt at an insult and blow it up so I can pass user:Kelsdad for 5th in points this week!!! (j/k :D)

Easy, he does kickoffs, the other kicker kicks the FG's. Like San Diego and other teams do.

The 4th quarter kick by Tynes to win it the first time was a HORRIBLE snap. Yes, he could have adjusted, but it's worth noting. The OT snap was perfect and look what he did.

The snap wasn't horrible, it was just high, and the holder adjusted very well. Holder got the ball down in time and facing out, Tynes simply hit it really really poorly, like beyond bad. If you don't get the physics of kicking a football (which I don't expect anyone to, and I only understand because my best friend is a kicker) then it would be easy to blame the bad kick on the holder or snapper. However, in this case, both those men did their jobs and Tynes freaked out by how the snap looked and shanked, no excuses - he just shanked the facking ball on the biggest kick of his career.

the snap was horrible. It was high, and slow, and not straight. The kicker's timing was messed, and he just had to kick it so they didn't get sacked

The most excited people for a New York/New England Super Bowl aren't Pats fans, and aren't Giants fans. They're network executives. They get two weeks and tons of material for hype, then a championship game involving two major markets, and a quest for history.
