Future Banning of Patriots Fans

Posted by Kelsdad

The Patriots and Tom Brady have been in Phoenix about 24 hours now and already there have been more stories about Brady's injury than about yesterday's weather. (Trust me, it is BIG news when it rains in Phoenix).

All of these reports are unanimous in nature, from ESPN's Sal Palantonio to every Tom, Dick and Harry wannabe sports jock, that Brady's injury is not only real, but much more serious than has been previously reported. Eyewitness reports said Brady had difficulty walking down the ramp from the team plane and even needed assistance getting on the bus taking the team to the hotel. He was limping noticeably when walking to the podium for the Patriots team press conference and was seen riding a golf cart in the tunnel at University of Phoenix Stadium wearing the boot.

It is known Brady did not take one snap at practice last week, which to me is very telling. A team's opponent will watch an infinite amount of tape, much more so than when preparing for a regular season game. And considering the Giants were not only a regular season opponent, but a LATE season one as well, the changes to the Pats game plan would be also more than normal. And they are running through these new plays with their back-up quarterback?

I know this week is the one that counts, obviously. And I know Brady is smarter than your average quarterback, but...............something shouldn't smell right if you're a Pat's fan.

So, if for some reason Brady doesn't play well on Super Bowl Sunday, or even misses some or all of the game, and the Patriots lose, I propose banning every Patriot or Brady fan who comes on the 'Chair and says......

We would have won if Brady was 100 percent

That's like saying Hillary would have won the Democratic nomination if she didn't have tits. She does, and she won't. Brady wasn't (isn't) 100%, and the Patriots lost.

Not to worry, though. You'll have 8 months to get over it.

haha, it really doesn't matter, because if the Patriots lose, it is inevitable that it will be blamed on Brady being possibly hurt...

Wait...isn't Brady always playing at less than 100% according to the NFL Injury reports? Good ole Tom has been on them for the past few years, hasn't he?

"Eyewitness reports said Brady had difficulty walking down the ramp from the team plane and even needed assistance getting on the bus taking the team to the hotel." I'm just gonna throw this out there...but as a guy who's raked up quite a few frequent flyer miles, how many of you have walked normally after a 4 to 5 hour flight?

I do not fly very often so I can't comment too much on that, but by that logic wouldn't ever member of the team have needed help getting off the plane and on the bus.

especially with a sore ankle, flying sucks. I'm not that worried because it just means my boy, Laurence "Kool-aid" Maroney will be the game MVP when the pats win without a healthy Brady

Well, Justin, I fly cross country all the time and within a minute or two I'm good to go, and I'm alot older than Brady. So that's pretty weak.

Of course it does, Rawbie, but we all know that already. But if the Pats lose just accept it as fact without the whining. We're all going to watch the same game, so no sense coming here on Monday or whatever and making it seem like we didn't.

No, the excuse will be that Brady was too healthy.

You're right, KD, the NFL MVP not playing or not being healthy wouldn't have any impact on the game. Let's just wait until the game is over before we start concocting excuses and counter-excuses.

"That's like saying Hillary would have won the Democratic nomination if she didn't have tits. She does, and she won't."

Hahaha, that slayed me. I actually laughed out loud. And it's true!

Anyway, I was watching Channel 7 news earlier and it showed Brady lightly jogging around. No big deal, I know -- but to my keen eye, it didn't seem he was favoring his weight one side of the other.

And if the Patriots lose on Sunday, I'm going into seclusion for a couple days. I'll come out eventually, but I will have to come to the conclusion that I am going to be made fun of as a fan of the Patriots for the remainder of my life. But I won't make excuses, I promise.

Made fun of as a Patriot fan??? You guys have 3 fackin Super Bowl rings. Although, I still get laughed at as a Steeler fan when we have FIVE Super Bowl rings (but that could be because I live in Maryland). I just tell all the Ravens fans that laugh, and say the Steelers suck: "How many Super Bowl rings do the Ravens have???" Haha, Shuts 'em up EVERY time.

But still... 18-1. There's nothing they could do to ever overcome that. Although I think they'll win, I'm not looking forward to a world IF they lose. Note I said if.

I remember how last year on the Monday of Presidents Day Weekend, it rained in Phoenix. I was flying back from San Francisco via PHX, and we had to wait for a shuttle in the rain. It sucked, especially because it shouldn't be raining in Arizona
