Future Banning of Patriots Fans
The Patriots and Tom Brady have been in Phoenix about 24 hours now and already there have been more stories about Brady's injury than about yesterday's weather. (Trust me, it is BIG news when it rains in Phoenix).
All of these reports are unanimous in nature, from ESPN's Sal Palantonio to every Tom, Dick and Harry wannabe sports jock, that Brady's injury is not only real, but much more serious than has been previously reported. Eyewitness reports said Brady had difficulty walking down the ramp from the team plane and even needed assistance getting on the bus taking the team to the hotel. He was limping noticeably when walking to the podium for the Patriots team press conference and was seen riding a golf cart in the tunnel at University of Phoenix Stadium wearing the boot.
It is known Brady did not take one snap at practice last week, which to me is very telling. A team's opponent will watch an infinite amount of tape, much more so than when preparing for a regular season game. And considering the Giants were not only a regular season opponent, but a LATE season one as well, the changes to the Pats game plan would be also more than normal. And they are running through these new plays with their back-up quarterback?
I know this week is the one that counts, obviously. And I know Brady is smarter than your average quarterback, but...............something shouldn't smell right if you're a Pat's fan.
So, if for some reason Brady doesn't play well on Super Bowl Sunday, or even misses some or all of the game, and the Patriots lose, I propose banning every Patriot or Brady fan who comes on the 'Chair and says......
We would have won if Brady was 100 percent
That's like saying Hillary would have won the Democratic nomination if she didn't have tits. She does, and she won't. Brady wasn't (isn't) 100%, and the Patriots lost.
Not to worry, though. You'll have 8 months to get over it.
