Surprise, Arizona is located approximately 40 miles Northwest of Sky Harbor International Airport. There is a new Hotel currently under construction on the Stadium premises which should be open by March. Golf, shopping, restaurants close by.

I live two miles from the facility, if you're thinking about a trip, let me know I can make some calls/arrangements for you.

I was in Surprise last June. It's a pretty nice place. Seems like everything there is new.

The downside is that you can't really relax on your vacation because every time you let down your guard someone jumps out from under a table or behind a couch yelling with town pride.

Actually, it's because you drive through a bunch of nothing and then all of a sudden, SURPRISE! There's actually a town there!! If people did what you're suggesting the death rate would triple. That end of the Phoenix Metro area is known as the Blue Hair Region. Kelsdad is probably the youngest guy in Surprise by a couple decades...
