Fantasy Football - Draft Reminder

People like that should be banned from fantasy

Still that's retarded, this year was my first baseball fantasy team. I didn't pick phil hughes in the first round.

Yeah, did he pay any attention to everyone else, you have to get a RB in the first round, and sometimes the second round too. In my fantasy draft I ended up with Frank Gore, and Edgerrin James, but I think I am screwed after Frank Gore broke a bone in his hand.

Well, he's not present at the draft, he's away in Great Yarmouth playing in the British Championship (chess). So he set pre-draft rankings. Badly, it appears.

I looked on the matchups for Week Number 1. It "predicts" a score. Ranking the scores, I was 13 out of 14 (unless I miscounted).

Yeah, but even without a defense, I am still favored by 5 points, or did you miss that part?

Relax, it doesn't mean shit. Especially in the start of the season. Plus we haven't gone through pre-season horror where at least 1 or 2 key guys gets seriously injured.

Fantasy drafts before the month of pre-season is a total gaunlet...i guarantee a few big players both fantasy wise and team wise will have serious injuries... On top of that...the first few weeks of a football season are utterly unpredictable...

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it too much, Alex. They have Joe Addai projected to score as many points as LaDainian Tomlinson...so...the projections are hardly accurate.

I agree. I never do the draft this early. I typically wait until right before the season starts so that all the position battles have been ironed out.
