Do we need a Spellchecker?
Just a thought... I read a particularly harsh spelling, punctuation and grammar comment (known as SPaG on exams over here) on another topic... I thought... Why not have a spellchecker on the opinion/news/discussion creation pages? In a few seconds, these errors can be gotten rid off. Which is a good thing. Also, it can be refined... E.g. players names can be added to it, so that it doesn't say that Zetterberg is wrong. Or if there is a wrong spelling of it, it can be found in the spellcheck. I know metawiki makes an "add-on" like that, so I wonder if it can be adapted to our needs here? It would certainly help with the SPaG on articles.
Perhaps it can also be refined to ignore Americanisations too, so that I don't get really annoyed whenever I use it? But I don't know... I think it would help, but do you think we need it?
