A glint of sense in an otherwise bleak forest of ignorance!!!
While FP racks his brain on how to best 'Ban Manny Stiles' (good luck, tough guy!) - Especially while FP "blatently" (spelled it your way this time, DDub) rips off Manny's "Myth Debunking" concept time and again (hero worship IS o.k.; just admit it when you do it...) and ignorantly can't see the PLAIN difference between a turd publicizing his own public information about offered by himself and NON-public information concerning a non-involved party such as a spouse...,
and Rawb who does his best to abuse the word "incessant" (I bet you my non-unheterosexual testicles I can find - at least - 3 instances where your hero makes supportive, positive comments for every one of you "insults" - what are YOU willing to bet? Gee, for instance, Let's just count interactions with non-members, a.k.a. 'Anons') And perhaps you confuse the terms homosexual and gay a little too easily for a person who "incessantly" states he doesn't get offended by what Manny Stiles says?? I would also be willing to bet many important appendages that you've typed the word "gay" on AGM more times than he has... not that anyone who is or isn't gay really gives a shit; just saying.
and SSR can't figure out what to do because some day he's going to grow up to be a decent, well-informed, moderately vocabularized individual with the hands-on education in media he's recieved here at AGM (maybe), I'm just here to say that I love eating cats. Hey, I'm ALF!
When you take sports seriously... it's ok. You're crazy, you're not in touch with a reality that matters and you'd be best off to get laid more but it's really o.k. Follow your bliss. Sports are usually fun...
When you're obsessed with controlling the world and other people's views, ideals and opinions of what "FUN" is... as well as the people who associate with individuals who hold those ideals then... well, you're simply a dumb fuck. Or... a Nazi.
Perhaps this Manny Stiles fella has a grip on reality you will never know. Perhaps he's plain ole' crazy? Perhaps he just enjoys fucking with people that need to be fucked with every so often? He certainly has never seemed to fuck with people who didn't need to be fucked with for very long (other than the rare talent like Tyrone Briggs who just needed a potent sparring partner to stretch out his own capabilities and one occasion unnessarily - in a bitchy moment - with NiteOwl whom he has apologized and communicated with behind the scenes even though NiteOwl said Manny Stiles wasn't the reason he'd never return to AGM...)
Perhaps it's some other fourth thing? Maybe he needs more cats in his diet, I don't know.
I commend anyone who has "Manray" (an 'evil' character from the cartoon Spongebob Squarepants) as his avatar, but maybe I'm the only person who can enjoy that and that's what us fictional alien creatures enjoy?
Perhaps you're all morons. And by "Perhaps" I mean definitely. I mean WHO in their right mind REALLY thinks they can fix the world? Or a website as menially non-openminded, riddled with lame, self-righteous commentors and task-intensive as ArmchairGM.com? There is! Kelsdad and Davis are SPOT ON... then again; maybe they know so much because they actually get PAID to write real actual, content driven articles about sports??!?!?!???!??!??!??!!?! Hmmm?

Kudos KD and DDub for making AGM a springboard to greener pastures as well as clearly understanding basic common sense (and having at least a slight grasp of Mr. Stiles). Kudos Cheezer and Romiezzo for making AGM an amazing magnet for random Anon searches and a wealth and breadth of knowledge - YOUR efforts ARE what makes AGM great regardless of any "dead" talk because your efforts live on WELL after the daily bullshit stales out. Kudos Tyrone Briggs for trusting and valuing AGM - despite the objections of the same admin who banned Manny Stiles without a warning for "insults" then proceeded to call him an "asshole" on the ban log - as an alternative outlet and quality source of consistent contributors such as NiteOwl and Murph to aid and assist your and BigBadBill's causes and very fine (and VERY intelligent, fun-loving and open-mindedly tolerant) community. Kudos to all who left when the going was good. And kudos to everyone who wants the sports to be the focus instead of the politics, last-wordism and nanosemantics to rule this or ANY internet forum.

Just for a second, Mr. Zeitz - take this moment - and consider that you possibly, perhaps might be missing a very simple concept: When the world seems to be wrong, maybe YOU are the problem!
Mr. Zeitz... go read what Davis and Kelsdad said. Understand what they are saying. They want SUCCESS not bullshit. They want positive contributions from EVERYONE, including Manny Stiles not the dreaded tango from the know-it-all, link-it-all, beat-the-same-jokes-into-the-mantle-of-the-earth jokes types like you are so inclined.
Write an article! Contribute SOMETHING instead of dissecting, instead of "incessant" name calling (egoist, drama queen, punk, youtube commentor, retirement, Brett Favre pictures, etc.), get your dumb-because-you-think-you-are-smart ass off of site scout and play the AGM game the way it was intended. CONTRIBUTE, don't diminish. That's all this every has been about with Mr. Manny "the next article is #300 and it will be in far less than 52 days, FP" Stiles. He gives what he gets - the trolls more troll than they can handle, the jokers more jokes than they were prepared for, the sports-knowledgables plenty of real-life applicable understanding and the behind the scenes shady-schemers more schemes than they really want. Always has, always will...
Ask just about every other person who has ever been on this site why YOU seem to have a problem with Manny Stiles and why taht problem ends up being other people's problems. It's because YOUR ego can't afford to step back. YOUR ego can't afford to lose a game that only YOUR ego is playing. Manny Stiles isn't keeping points but he knows you sure can't wait to take your next shot! It's fine if you need to tango... but it's hard to lead the dance when you don't even know the song your dancing to... you're the fish, AGM is the nearly empty barrel and guess who is holding the gun?
Treat people in a manner that allows you the wiggle room to realize that maybe, just maybe your assumptions aren't perfect and your prejudgements are a tad off. Manny knows what his reality is - he knwos just how miniscule he is in the world - and just because he's very, very comfortable with who he is, don't confuse that with "ego"; confuse it with your inability to comprehend people that are different than you. Other people in this world know they CAN be happy...
Perhaps your ego is too entrenched in it's own mire to accept that you are nothing special either and your need to cast judgment on the cyberworld is your escape from reality. Because I have a pretty good idea you aren't too happy with your reality when you DARE to face it honestly...
