David Stern is asking for trouble....

If someone from Southie (South Boston, see: The Departed) does something bad tonight because the Celtics lost on a bad call by:

JOEY CRAWFORD or BENNETT SALVATORE

then I might not feel too bad. It'll be a tragedy, but one that should have been avoided. Stupid is as stupid does and this is just plain dumb. Why do you set yourself up like this? If you want the "tin-foil hat" crowd to shut up then stop feeding them. Because eventually regular people stop seeing the tin foil and start seeing what the "crazy people" see.

I have no idea why he did not just ask Tim Donaghy to come out of "retirement" for one game. I mean if are trying to be not at subtle, then be not at all subtle. If you want a game seven, then just be open about it.

I've accepted it now. But I just hope Doc River's style of coaching can get past that. How awesome would it be to see the C's win despite an obviously lopsided referee bias toward the Lakers. Even that won't get certain people interested in rooting for the Celtics, will it Ms Hill?

It doesn't matter who is coaching the team, if Stern wants the fix then it will happen. That's just the way it is. The NBA is by far the easiest sport to not fix but lets say engineer a game to get a certain outcome, or at the very least keep it close to cover or make a spread which is really the most important part.

Sterns has lost control of his own game and what the players are doing. He is afraid to come down on them about drugs and attitudes why that is something that he has to figure out. To much money and to many ways to use it legally and illegally.
