Okay so i just got a text from a friend saying Cassell got traded, but theres nothin on it on espn and according to wikipeida the deal is done....anyone one lese heard this or is this one elaborate prank

Vrabel is out the door, too, but he was aging very rapidly anyway. I trust this means Belichick is confident that Brady's knee is going to be fine, which is good news.

Florio over at PFT suggests that the Chiefs won out on this deal...I'm not so sure

My question would be, if you're the chiefs, would you really draft a talent like Cassel with the 3rd pick overall (for comparison's sake)...and if you're the Pats, while the 3rd pick overall does a lot, the danger of a rookie contract is a real bitch...the Pats 1st round record is good...but its not sparkling (Watson, Graham?)...they're probably better served, especially if the conditional pick works in their favor...I'd take 2 2nds over a first like that if I'm them

On the other hand, they better hope Brady is ok (and all indications are he should be)
