Canseco's Integrity

With the recent news that Canseco tried to blackmail Magglio Ordonez do you think Canseco's new book will have any weight as far as the players he mentions? It is probably a given that A-Rod will be mentioned in there since he has been bringing his name up for a while now. How will Canseco's book affect A-Rod if at all? He just signed a new mega contract and if the Yankees couldn't dump Giambi a few years ago then I doubt A-Rod will be hurt that way, but what about the court of public opinion?

Michael Wilbon said it best when he said that Canseco's biggest names came out in the first book because there was no way he could have known he was going to write another book, so he used his best stuff the first time around

That is a really good point, and I doubt anyone has been open with Canseco in admitting any use since Juiced came out.

I don't think you can say that Canseco is lacking integrity or at least credibility when it comes to the issue of steroids. He seems to be the one who is closest to telling the whole truth.

I think he's throwing A-rods name out there to sell books.If A-rod was taking cold medicine, Mitchell would have had it in his report being he plays for the yanks.
