Can an Edit Option be Added to the Comments Section

Is it at all possible that an edit option be added to the Comments section. I am not saying that this edit option be available to anyone to use - just to the person who posts a comment. Hence, the comment writer can edit a comment posted after clicking comment.

Is this at all possible?

Must suck to be paralyzed for over 15 hours being afraid to post a comment at the 'Chair without the ability to edit. Can an admin put this poor SOB out of his misery already?

I don't know about a comment editor, but it would be nice to be able to change the thumbs vote after you click one. There's been several times when I accidentally clicked the wrong one.
