We all hope he is okay. My prayers are with him.

Of course, it is never cool to criticize an injured player. Nevertheless, he hit Denver's Domenik Hixon with the top of his helmet. There is a reason you are not supposed to do that. You can get seriously hurt.

Jesus Christ, the guy breaks and dislocates his neck, has two vertebrae removed, and you want to talk about hitting him with the helmet. He was trying to drive through Hixon and make the tackle. Hixon lowered his head to brace for the impact. Have a little class here. Guy is fighting for his life, and you want to comment about how he hit a guy.

There is a lesson to be learned. Don't lower your head. If that stops ONE kid from getting injured, then my lack of "class" is worth it.

Furthermore, this injury was likened to the one Mike Utley suffered in 1991 while with the Detroit Lions. Utley was asked and offered this comment: "I'm sorry this young man got hurt," Utley told the AP. "It wasn't a cheap shot. It was a great form tackle and that's it."
