Ha, made you look...

Detroit Tigers DH Gary Sheffield's second inning grand slam off Oakland's Gio Gonzalez tonight was the 250,000th homerun in major league history. The first? Chicago Cubs second baseman Ross Barnes, off Cincinnati Reds righty Cherokee Fisher on May 2, 1876.
