Bowl Game History Mini-Project

Do you have a favorite bowl game? Or is your favorite team playing in a bowl game this year? Well you can help improve that bowl's encyclopedia page.

I've used the team template DNL designed to create new formats for the bowl pages, so the dirty work is done (so if you were wondering how I managed to score a weekly points win...).

Every current bowl needs to be updated. The information and histories on them are far too thin to be respectable. You can add sponsorship details and changes, conference tie-in changes, information about significant games played in that bowl.

Check out the Fiesta Bowl page. It's probably the most in-depth of all of them, and even that one could be updated further. But it should get you started. Put in the comments which one(s) you want to do.

Also, rearrange or rewrite the information on the BCS National Championship Game page. I think it's ripped directly from Wikipedia, so a little AGM flavor should kick it up a little.

And if you get really ambitious, we need pages for all the defunct college bowl games too. We currently only have one set up (Houston Bowl) and that was only because it was still active when I created it at the beginning of 2006. If you wish to continue with one of these, just create the page and copy over the formatting from one of the current bowls and at this category [[Category: Defunct College Bowl Games]].

Can you put up a signup list? I'm going to create an on-page navigation template for the Bowls but I need a list :)

You should check out the page College Football Bowl Games. There's a navigation there. I didn't do it, but it's there.
