I don't support the banning of anybody. He has a right to speak his mind as does everyone else. However, if an anon or registered user is posting spam or vandalizing, then I can go along with the ban.

I didn't think 09DillB even needed to be blocked, even though he was vandalizing articles, which by the way he apologized for and calmly stated that he was just very frustrated with some of the people on here, namely you, SS. All I am asking for is a little respect from Jamel. I don't expect him to agree with me. He may have been joking when he more or less told me I needed to get rid of my wife but I took it very seriously. I know everyone here at Armchair would rather get back to discussing sports.

This is all just rediculous. Jamel has a right to be an idiot, as much as people may not like it, as much as it may annoy or offend or hurt some people, he has a right to be an idiot. He post pictures, he writes his opinions and he makes his statements. He's offensive and possibly bordering abusive, but I haven't seen him make a blatant violation of Terms of Use.

It would seem that a violation would be the only thing that bring a ban on a user. So until that happens you have two options:

Suck it up and shut up, because bitching is as bad as being the annoyance.

Tell Jamel how you feel about what he's saying, and let the conversation begin.

There isn't a real basis for banning here. Unless someone can provide proof of the terms of use being broken.
