ArmchairGM Site Project -- March 2007
Hey guys:
So, I'd like to all get together and build a really cool sports-world resource each month. Something that we can together spend a few weeks building, and when the time comes, push around to our favorite writers, bloggers, etc. -- we'll get traffic for the 'Chair and at the same time build something valuable for sports fans everywhere.
Unfortunately, I need you guys to take "ownership" of the project -- I can help build them, but I can't really manage them fully. It has to be a group thing, you know?
Here are some ideas for March:
- A page with 200-word write-ups for each of the 65 NCAA tourney teams -- strengths, weaknesses, stars, etc. It'd have to be done a day or two after the bracket is announced, which means that locks to make the tournament would have to be written starting like, now.
- A complete-as-possible resource on the Gyroball, for "release" on Opening Day.
- A list of players accused of using steriods, sourced to the accusations, again to be "released" on Opening Day.
Add other stuff by editing or in the comments; also, if you want to start one up, coordinate here or via a new locker room post.
