Are game recaps newsworthy?

I noticed that a few of the game recaps were showing up with the news category (MLB News, <Team Name> News, etc). Since Game Recaps are pretty much a representation of an actual happening (news event), they could fall under this category, but it is not assigned based on the template.
Should Game Recaps include the various News category tags?
