Announcement from Cougar2000 (Includes 'The Office' Quotes!)
To whom it may concern:
I joined ArmchairGM because I love sports and some if not all of the things dealing with sports. I posted as much as I could and commented and corrected when needed.
When that love is threatened, as well as my personal integrity, I feel the need to respond.
To that end, I am responding to charges that I plagerized two stories on Michelle Wie that I posted a couple of weeks ago. This is not the case, since I quoted the source that I used in the stories in question. Other media outlets quote sources. That's what I did. Period!
I am announcing that I am leaving ArmchairGM effective immediately. The reasons why I am leaving are because of personal attacks made on my character with the comment about being a phedophile, which is not the case. I am also leaving because of the pettiness with the lenght (or lack of lenght) of my columns. Since when is length a requirement?
I have pulled some of my better works and will be using them at Gather.com. And yes, I do give the sources there as I did here.
I though AGM was going to be fun. In the last few months, it has gotten my blood pressure up and that's not good. I bid you farewell and hope we meet down the road again in the future.
