Relax Pip. First you have to have a base of black Refs, that didn't happen overnight. Then you need a black head Ref that's really good, that took time. Then you need one with tenure and a strong reputation. You can't just pull Lawrence Taylor of the yayo table and throw zebra stripes on him and have him ref the biggest game in the biggest sport in America. There historically have been few black NFL refs, and naturally fewer head Refs. So I'm not surprised that it took this long, no more surprised then I was that Lovie and Tony were the first black super bowl Head Coaches. Progression is a slow progress accomplish through paitence and intillgent decisions. Not rash moves and hasty changes.
