All of the Things I Was Wrong About (2008 Sports Edition)
As an annual/New Year's Eve tradition, or at least for the previous two AGM seasons I have offered to you the ample list of my misfirings, misgivings and plain old dipshitted conclusions of blandeur.
Unfortunately due to circumstances that rank just above getting raped by a chainsaw I am unable to allow the generous, prodigious and socially exalted masses here at AGM to spittle and defecate on my pride with delirious glee. Things are ok for me, but certain demographics are hampering my ability to produce decent, regular copy right now...
But back to the "motivation" here: I was wrong about a lot of shit in 2008 and I'm not afraid to face the proverbial and theoretical "music"...
Sure... there was the Suns not winning the Super Bowl and the Rays barely taking 8 medals in Beijing or Tyrone Briggs being a one-quarter Albino Asian dude from the silverspoon ladelling suburbs instead of the pasty, Star Wars-loving 100% caucasian I thought he is but beyond that, 2008 had its moments - good and bad, sometimes worse. Regardless, I was still REALLY right about a few minor things (You Pats fans might know what I'm shoving in your face).
So have at it - let out your bile-tinged rage, your haughty attitude-impaired adjectives and your joy of slandering a prick of my particular flavor.
Have a HAPPY and safe New Years. Make your resolutions as resolute as possible. Don't do anything I would consider pondering and as always - Peace and good tidings to you and yours...
Have a spectacular 2009!!!
