If a snooker "ranking event" were held in the USA, for arguments sake, New York, would you go to it? Tickets, I imagine would be around about $20ish each per person per match (based on English prices of £10ish per match).

Being a ranking event, you'd be guaranteed to see some of the best in the world play, but you'd have nobody to support.

The tournament would last over the duration of a week, with the final over two sessions on a Sunday (afternoon and evening). Would people decide to go?

I dunno really, I do think that the Darts events out in Las Vegas do pretty well. Maybe Vegas would be a better venue.

Depends on the time of the year and the price of the tickets. I would be, at the very least, interested. Whether I go or not, that would be determined at a later date.

Snooker is another one of those sports/games (hockey/soccer/men's sand volleyball) that I like to play, loathe to watch. It's just too.... boring. The only billiards I'll watch on TV is when they have the trick contests on, and that's only until the next commercial pops up and I forget about it.
