A Weekly Column Preview - Snooker Weekly
I hope to put this out weekly. Some weeks will be more hectic than others, but I should be able to maintain this... There will be some random tat though for a month or two though, but I should be able to put news stories and other such stuff from the world of snooker. There's always some snooker going on, in various forms, some more prestigious than others, but I should be able to fill an article every Monday documenting the week that just passed in Snooker. Monday is a logical date for this to happen, since practically every tournament ends on a Sunday. Also, it gives me time to fill out tournament pages and the like ready for perusal.
As a brief prelude, this week the 2007 Shanghai Masters, a new ranking event, takes place this week. I will be filling it out throughout the week, and analyse the competition in full next week. I will try to provide news and results as far as possible during the tournaments themselves, although note that this may not happen all the time.
I'll even embed random vidoes from YouTube for your entertainment with a bit of luck. This may be the Snooker Match series, that has currently reached Frame 23. You can click the blue link to see what happens. Or explain some great snooker moments, ready for you to vote on.
So, that is what I put on the table. I want to sell this sport to you as much as I can! Anything else you'd like me to throw in is welcome, please suggest some stuff if you have anything to request, and I'll see if I can put it in! Comments are welcome!
