A Sports Titan Wants Your Eyes

That's basically the reason that in a week or so, logged-in users are going to see ads. We know it kinda sucks, and honestly, it's not a significant amount of money. We're doing it for a few reasons:
- Hey, money is good, even in small doses. Someone stole the key to our office bathroom (really) and we need to make copies, and these ads will help pay for it.
- The flagship advertiser is going to be lending a ton of credibility to the site. The advertiser is a titan in the sports world and we're honestly flattered that they want to reach our community. The first person to correctly guess who the advertiser is in the comments gets, oh, 50 points. (I'll give you a gift or something.)
- We keep making friends with pretty big, but independent sports site. It's a tough world out there for us non-league, non-SI, non-Fox sites. (Oh, yeah, and non-ESPN). In fact, one site emailed me as I wrote this; we met people from three others yesterday, etc. What we want to do is pretty simple -- take a percentage of our ads and give them away to these other indys. Basically, build a community of independent sports media sites, with ArmchairGM being a focal point. For this one, we need your help to, well, make more friends. But we'll get there. So, leave suggestions in the comments.
On the other hand, leave complaints here. (Yes, I'll read them, and yes, I'll reply unless you swear at me.)
