AGM User Awards??

Isn't it about that time. Shouldn't we start taking nominations for the year's AGM User awards?? I know we haven't been too busy over the past month or so. In fact, it's been extremely slow. But the show must go on.

If no one wants to take control of this, then I guess I could attempt to. Let me know what you all think.

I think it's about time for the nominations. It would be only 9 days before the anniversary of the day Corey posted his lockerroom topic about AGM Awards... This is his article with all of the previous awards. If anyone has any other ideas, post 'em...

Some Categories:

Best Writer, best commenter, best editor, best NFL coverage, best MLB coverage, best NBA coverage, best Collegiate coverage, overseas user, comeback user, most improved writer.

They were all used last year, but yeeah I hope we can get some people to come up with some new ideas, too.

Ok, so I think it would work best if we just did the exact same categories as last year's awards. Which are: Most valuable user, rookie of the year, comeback user of the year, article of the year, best article series, best writer, best commenter, best editor, best beat writer, most improved writer, overseas user of the year, best MLB coverage, best NFL coverage, best NHL coverage, best collegiate coverage, best soccer coverage, best motorsports coverage, best humor writing, homer of the year

You know what? I think we could do it, but sadly, AGM has lacked consistent traffic for months now, we just don't have enough activity to put all those categories in anymore.

Go ahead and do the awards but just do like 6 awards. No one wants to vote 2000 times. This is not little league soccer everyone does not deserve an award
