2008 World Snooker Championship to have a ceremony-like draw
On Tuesday, March 11, 888snooker.com will stream live coverage of the draw for the 2008 World Snooker Championship. It will take place at 13:00 GMT (8:00 AM ET). The build up starts half an hour beforehand, and there will be an exhibtion featuring some of the players.
The top 16 ranked players have already qualified for the tournament. There are 16 qualifiers, to be determined over the next four days.
This will be the first time in the 81 year history of the event that fans all over the world can watch the draw for the event live.
The World Championship will go to The Crucible Theatre for the main event, starting on April 19th, and the draw will take place live from the same venue on Tuesday.
