"Pinstripe Pride" Debuts Today
Yesterday's post was meant more as an introduction to the "beat" and what you should expect from here on out.
Following Don Corleone's advice (cough, cough), the word "beat" shall not appear anywhere in any title. To those wanna be gangsta's who do more criticising than contributing here, now is your chance to show us all what you got.
This article was written before Joe Torre's departure, and, as this guy suggested, the first installment will touch on some of the candidates being interviewed and who, if anyone, will make their free agent decisions based on these two events.
And just so everyone knows, I am writing this "beat" solely for the enjoyment of the Armchair community. I've been published in other magazines, newspapers and websites before, so I'm not going to get all emotional if someone outside Armchair picks something up. It is not my job to promote any article or the site itself (I'm not on the payroll), that's the administrators job.
So if someone thinks an article would look better with pictures, you do it. I have neither the experience, time, or desire to look for this stuff. Stats? More links? Ditto, and ditto.
Hope you all enjoy "Pinstripe Pride", regardless of your feelings towards the Yankees. It ain't all bad.
