Lloyd Merritt

Born on April 8, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, Lloyd Merritt (Lloyd Wesley Merritt) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career. Merritt broke into the bigs on April 22, 1957 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.31 ERA in 65.1 innings pitched in 1957, his rookie year.
