Lloyd Mcdermott (Lloyd Ivan McDermott) was born on December 20, 1925 in Covington, Kentucky. After going to high school at Holmes (Covington, KY), Mcdermott attended the University of Kentucky. Mcdermott made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Detroit Lions over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1951 was Lloyd Mcdermott's best year.
