Lloyd Burdick (Lloyd Sumner Burdick) was born on August 8, 1909 in Assumption, Illinois. After going to high school at Morgan Park Military Academy (Chicago, IL), Burdick attended the University of Illinois. Burdick made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 3 year career.
