Liz Funk

Liz Funk (Elias Calvin Funk) was born on October 28, 1904 in La Cygne, Kansas. He made his Major League debut on April 26, 1929 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1930, his rookie year, he hit .275 with 4 home runs and 65 RBI. Funk played for the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 3 year career.
