It's the winless St. Louis Rams vs. the undefeated Dallas Cowboys.
Can the Rams overcome the loss to Stephen Jackson for their first win of the year, or will the Cowboys with Newman and Ware making their first starts after injury be able to stomp all over the Rams.
With 12:10 to go in the first, the Rams have already made their first timeout, and it's 3rd and 6.
Sorry about the delays, my computer has been acting up.
Here's the summary: Rams have been putting some pressure on Romo, the Rams did push the ball downfield on their second possession but ended up punting. Cowboys are now pushing the ball, and right now Terrell Owens made a questionable catch being challenged right now. It's about 3 minutes in the 1st quarter.
3:24 : Owens catch is reversed, the right call. Did not have possession before going down, Dallas punts.
3:06, Bulger tries to make a huge pass play to Torry Holt on 1st down, but Dallas' Anthony Henry breaks it up, now is injured. Appears to be an ankle injury.
2:26, Another 3 and out by the Rams. Another punt. Both teams haven't been doing much offensively thus far. It's been a surprisingly defensive game. And the punt goes to the Dallas' 1 yard line.
It seemed Dallas was going to push the ball downfield, but Romo throws an interception and gives the Rams huge field position at the end of the 1st quarter. Let's see if the Rams can capitalize on this mistake. It's a scoreless game at the end of the 1st quarter.
Rams are killing themselves. A facemask penalty on the offensive lineman puts them on the 40 and out of field goal range.
A reprieve for the Rams! Bulger to Bruce for 24 yards and a first down. Rams back to business.
No touchdown for the Rams. And Wilkins missed a gimme 28 yarder to the right. The Rams did not capitalize and the Cowboys take over, feeling lucky. It's the way the season has been for these two teams huh?
Two straight first downs for the Cowboys. They're marching on down!
9:06 2nd quarter, Rams are shooting themselves in the foot! An offsides give the Cowboys another set of downs.
8:40 2nd quarter, Romo to Jones for another first down and Cowboys are in field goal range.
7:15 2nd quarter, Big pass play by the Cowboys to set up a Julius Jones run-in touchdown. 7-0, Cowboys.
