Lionel Washington (Lionel Washington) was born on October 21, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at Lutcher (New Orleans, LA), Washington attended Tulane University. Washington made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Los Angeles Raiders, St. Louis Cardinals, Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 15 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Lionel Washington's best year, as he picked off 8 passes.
