If he wants a Mitchell Report kind of investigation, does that mean he wants to investigate the NFL and see how widespread this type of behavior is? If so, it's still a waste of time. After what happened to the Patriots, I don't think any team that did record signals will risk it again, at least not from the sidelines. And if we find out that other teams have done it in the past, I personally won't care.

We should start a petition that says he should use his time on trying to lower gas prices instead, or pretty much anything other frigging thing that's going on in the country... who's in?

If Specter is still "unsatisfied", then I think it's a personal problem. Maybe he should get the "little blue pill"?

If the NFL doesn't have the collective balls to stand up to Belichick and his sycophantic entourage, then I say go get them Mr.Specter. I've lost all respect for that shill Goodell. There's something fishy about this whole thing and a lot of people seem to be trying hard to get it swept under the rug. I listen to the apologists on ESPN and already they speak of this matter in the past tense, like all is well and let's move on. Let Specter poke around a little. Only those who have something to hide will be the ones raising a stink. I for one, love this.

Accusations backed up by hard evidence which is then slathered in denial and subsequently defended by an erotically engorged and deluded fanbase that is daily manipulated by an East-Coast fellating news media can hardly be called a "conspiracy".

I've been a huge Patriots fans going back to the "Boston Patriot" days. Don't try to broadbrush me with your infantile and totally predictable ad hominem attacks. I love the Patriots but a rat stinks like a rat whether it's on the East coast, West coast, or the banks of the Mississippi.

Belichick is a good coach but he's also an egotistic dickweed who's very demeanor reeks of deceit. I don't put cheating by him at all. Just because a team like the Pats becomes talented, it doesn't necessarily mean that it got that way by above-board means, especially in light of what has transpired. This whole matter deserves being dug into and the very fact that the media is so very quick to imply that 'this is a dead issue' and 'we've put this one to bed' tells me (and other un-biased fans) that maybe...just possibly...there may be more here than meets the eye.

Not to pop anyone's little Beli-Bubbles, but you have to ask yourself, "What if there IS a smoking gun? What if it turns out that Bill & Company ARE guilty?" As tragic as that might be, it could happen despite all efforts and prayers to the contrary. I hate for your sakes that it doesn't turn out that way. I really hate seeing grown men cry.
