it tickles me when I think that there are people in the world dedicating their lives to getting this guy fired while he just keeps getting more and more popular!!!

Perhaps if the morons trying to get him fired weren't so busy getting banned from quality sites such as this one, their subpar efforts wouldn't be such a total waste of time...

I honestly don't know how Mariotti and the rest of the Around the Horn clowns keep their jobs. 95% of the writers who go on that show are horrible writers (Bill Plaschke I'm looking at you) and make fools of themselves on a regular basis on ESPN. I think it's best just to ignore them. How ATH stays on the air, I have no idea, but as long as I don't turn on ESPN at 5, the show doesn't exist to me.

Has he been fired from the Trib and Around the Horn?

ATH needs to get more well-rounded sports writers on the show, instead of niche guys like Cowlishaw who like JUST hockey and racing. Or... they could always just let Mariotti and Paige go at like, like a 2nd-rate PTI.
