Lindy Mayhew (Hayden Lowe Mayhew) was born on August 24, 1907. Mayhew attended the University of Texas-El Paso. Mayhew made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 3 year career.
