4
Vote

Martin St. Louis completed a hat trick in a 6:17 span of the second period helping the Tampa Bay Lightning cruise past the Carolina Hurricanes 5-1 on Thursday night.

The 6:17 span between the 3 goals set the record for the fastest three goals in team history. He broke his own previous record, which was at 9:43.

St. Louis broke out of a scoring slump, having accumulated only two goals in his first eight games this season.
