Lewis Sanders (Lewis Lindell Sanders) was born on June 22, 1978 in Staten Island, New York. After going to high school at St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY), Sanders attended the University of Maryland. Sanders made his professional debut in the NFL in 2000 with the Cleveland Browns. He has played for the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 2002 was Lewis Sanders's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
