Lew Lane (Lindley Roedesto Lane) was born on January 28, 1898 in Bucklin, Kansas. After going to high school at Bucklin (KS), Lane attended St. Mary's Academy and College. Lane made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Kansas City Blues. He played for the Kansas City Blues for his entire 1 year career.
