Born on June 8, 1912 in Media, Pennsylvania, Lew Krausse (Lewis Bernard Krausse, Sr.) played for the Philadelphia Athletics for his entire 2 year career. Krausse broke into the bigs on June 11, 1931 with the Philadelphia Athletics, and put up a 4.58 ERA in 57 innings pitched in 1932, his rookie year.
