Tenho visto desde o ano passado a idolatria com a qual a imprensa e a maioria esmagadora dos atleticanos tratam o atual técnico Levir Culpi. Nome praticamente unânime, considerado um dos grandes nomes da atualidade, responsável pela campanha vitoriosa do Atlético na série B e pelo bom momento vivido atualmente pela equipe.
Talves por eu não possuir memória curta, talvez por birra, talvez por motivos injustificáveis, mas sou contra essa onda pró-Levir existente na atualidade.
No meu ponto de vista, o ano começou completamente errrado. Enquanto os jogadores se reapresentaram, Levir ao invés de se reapresentar junto à equipe do GALO esticou um pouquinho mais suas férias. Muitos diriam ser normal pois ele trabalhou após a conquista da série B e tudo mais, mas devemos sempre nos lembrar que ele é o ponto de referência para os jogadores, ele tem que dar o exemplo. Ser comandante de uma equipe não significa apenas dar ordens, significa também, por em prática o que fala. Se ele deseja proficionalismo por parte dos jogadores, esforço, dedicação, ele tem que ser o primeiro a demonstrar possuir tudo isto. Devemos também nos lembrar que o GALO se reapresentou com caras novas. Ora, como pode um jogador chegar em um clube novo e não se encontrar com seu comandante?
E as contratações?

Sim, ele não contratou sozinho, mas teve participação, pois sem sua aprovação, ninguém chega. A diretoria também vêm errando tudo, mas isto será assunto para um outro artigo. Vale lembrar que foi por sua causa que o Roni não renovou o contrato. O motivo? Dar espaço para o Éder Luis, que é um péssimo jogador, não chega aos pés do Roni e para o Tchô, que como todos têm visto, não tem conseguido sua vaga no time, deixando o Bilu como titular, contrariando toda a opnião pública. Levir é um técnico retranqueiro, faz o GALO jogar como time pequeno, ao invés de por pra frente, abrindo mão do segundo volante.
Vale ressaltar também o péssimo futebol praticado pelo GALO que não consegue se impor e aplicar grandes goleadas. Por mais equilibrado que o time possa estar(o que é ótimo, pois isto possibilitou várias viradas), tá na hora de se impor mais, mostrar as garras e atropelar seja quem for.
Felizmente, nunca gritei Levir no estádio, mas tenho certeza que quem um dia gritou, vai se arrepender profundamente em breve...
