Levert Carr (Levert Carr) was born on June 30, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at Buchtel (Akron, OH), Carr attended Independence Community College and North Central College. Carr made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the San Diego Chargers. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the San Diego Chargers the entire time. Carr also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Houston Oilers and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 4 year NFL career.
