So, I got that idea from my friend Joe that I should try and interview Mr. Edward G. Hochuli. So I send an email to where I think I can get a hold of him (don't ask, you won't get it), and sat back to wait.
The email read:

Mr. Hochuli-
My name is Matt, and I am the moderator of http://afraidofedhochuli.blogspot.com. I am writing you because of the article that came out today in the USA today. As you can see we really do love you at (as we like to call our page) "The Hoch", and I was hoping, that some how, some way I could meet you next time you are in Seattle and Interview you for our site.
If this is not possible, I understand, but I would really love to at least speak with you.
Again, I appologize for sending the email to this address, I was unable to locate an address or C/O for you through the NFL Refs Association.

Today, I am taking a break at work and decide to check "The Hoch's" email; and what do I see? The following is real:

No problem on using this email, Matt. This is how most people contact me, although I also have an email at They both come to the same place, though.
You really flatter me with your blog, Matt. I don’t understand the "following" I seem to have, but I do get a kick out of it. I take my officiating very seriously, and if some people like the way I do it, that's very satisfying. As for "afraid of Ed Hochuli", I trust no one is really afraid of me.
I'm just a pussycat. . . .
I would be happy to meet you in Seattle sometime, but unfortunately, I doubt I'll be back up there again this year. We normally only get to any given city once in the regular season, and I was there early in the year. Perhaps next year, though. Feel free to write me again and check things out. We only get our schedule for 4 weeks in advance, so I don’t know what I have coming up.

Holy Crap! I almost fell out of my chair. Hopefully we will have coorespondance, and I have asked if there were any way for us to have a pseudo interview (be it email, etc.)
So keep a look out guys, the real Ochi-Cinco is in the loop.
