Born on October 10, 1959 in Ciudad Bolivar, Bolivar (Venezuela), Les Straker (Lester Paul (Bolnalda) Straker) played for the Minnesota Twins for his entire 2 year career. Straker broke into the bigs on April 11, 1987 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 4.37 ERA in 154.1 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.
