Les Josephson (Lester Andrew Josephson) was born on July 29, 1942 in Minneota, Minnesota. After going to high school at Minneota (MN), Josephson attended Augustana (South Dakota). Josephson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Les Josephson's best year, as he ran for 800 yards, ran in 4 TDs, hauled in 37 receptions and caught 4 TD passes.
