Les Haws (Harvey Lester Haws) was born on November 28, 1899 in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA), Haws attended Dartmouth College. Haws made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 2 year career.
